Serama-mama

The kids are enjoying the chickens. We try to hold them every night so that they get use to human interactions. Chickens are actually very friendly and very trainable. In fact, in animal training schools chickens are the first animals that students train! Who knew? I don't know what Justin has in plan for chicken tricks, but it would be fun to train one to do the laundry....

Check out Sophia's pose in the second picture. This is the first picture she has posed in, and what a sassy stance! She has never really smiled for pictures and this is one of the first that we have seen!
