Happy Birthday to Me...a week later!

Since Justin won't post this picture on his blog...here it is! I don't know who's cuter!

I celebrated my 34th birthday this year. No big party or outing, just a night at home. Justin cooked my favorite pizza from scratch-ham and pineapple. He even baked me a cake! Chasen helped him bake it, but of course whined that he wanted to "blow" out a candle all day long. The kid still hasn't gotten over his birthday party. He wants another one so bad and is just itching to blow out candles! My family came over for dinner as a surprise so it was nice to have a little bit of a celebration. Since our old camera broke, Justin bought me a new camera. It's really nice because it has all the latest bells and whistles and is much smaller. Of course I've been too busy to use it! The rest of the week was all work and school. As we all know, life goes on! We can't all celebrate our birthdays all week long!

Chasen is finally saying his name! (Yes he's 3 but give him a break!) It all started yesterday. We've noticed lately that Chasen doesn't like being called a baby. Sure it's probably mean but we will ask him if he's a baby or a big boy when making decisions etc. He'll even correct me when I call him baby in a loving fashion. Yesterday, he started telling us "I'm not a baby, I'm Chase-y". We even asked him his name and he repeated "Chase-y". Up until now, if you asked him his name he would either say "me" or "Nemo". So, I am now the proud mother of "Chase-y", not "Nemo"!!!!

This week we have the "big" ultrasound and glucose test with my doctor for my 25 week checkup. After this session, I don't think they do any ultrasounds until the very end. This pregnancy has been very interesting. So far, it has been much better than my time with Chasen but I am also having a hard time remembering every detail of that. I didn't have morning sickness as much or as long this time as I did before. I also started feeling Sophia move a lot sooner than I did with Chasen, so that eliminated some stress. She moves a lot now. I don't remember Chasen moving this much so early, but maybe he did. I have a constant reminder that I'm pregnant at least every hour when she kicks and turns. So far I've only had a few sore back days. I feel like I had a lot more of those with Chasen. From my old blog posts, I was getting pretty uncomfortable around 6 months which is where I am now so hopefully this happy pregnancy will continue! I think having a baby in the winter months will help as well! I'll keep everyone posted!

Taking Donations for a New Camera!

If you ever want to see Chasen again, send camera donations to the Miller Planatation at....

I know it's hard to tell, but we all went to Zoo Atlanta today. This "picture" is Chasen and me on the carousel. He loved it so much we had to ride it 3 times! He also rode the train and jumped in a bounce house. The bounce house was rock'n so hard that the bounce-house-bouncer had to come in after all the kids and personally escort them out! We all had a really nice time, and for not that much money! This weekend was the Bank of America customer free weekend, we only had to pay for Chasen to get in. Thank goodness it was free, tickets are expensive! $20/piece is a little much for a family these days. The good thing is you can take in your own food, so when we go again we will pack our own lunch and it will really be a good deal! The chicken fingers were good, but I'm not sure if they were $10 good! We had so much fun that mommy and daddy are now limping around the house tyring to recover from all the excitement. I pulled some muscle in my stomach as well as my back and Justin is sore all over too. I think 4 hours of lifting Chasen up on fences to see all the animals is more of a workout than we expected!
