Time flies when you're having fun!

This is Chasen buried with all his stuffed toys on his bed....he was having a good time when his friend Payton came over to see him Sunday night.

Spring is here and school is almost over! We have two week left until spring break, and after that a little over a month and then we're out for the summer! I can't believe I'm almost done with my second year of teaching!

This summer will include school work while I attend GSU. But I am only taking two classes this summer, so hopefully I will still have some time to play! We don't have any vacation planned but maybe something will come up or we can do some local touring.

Justin has achieved his first level at Dekalb Tech and has a certificate in Network Administration. He is still working on his diploma and his degree in the same field. We are very proud of him for all his hard work!

Be sure to check out Justin's blog by going to www.justinandjacinda.com He has been adding some cool stuff on it (including some fun home-made video clips!)

Snow Day!

Believe it or not, it snowed in Georgia! The strangest part was that it was almost 70 degrees the day before! This was Chasen's first snow and he knew what it was right away- "no" for snow and "i" for ice. We played out while it was still snowing last night and I showed him how to stick your tongue out to catch snow flakes and how to make snow angels. Today, Justin taught him how to build a snowman. Chasen had sort of a love-hate relationship with the snowman. He liked him at first, but then got jealous because he wanted to wear his hat and eat his nose. He ended up beating up the snowman with his golf club, but he did give him a hug once he was done. Not the "Frosty" tale I was hoping for, but it was all fun.

Chasen is also becoming very handy around the house. He now takes his "Chasen stool" to every room turning on lights. Problem is, he doesn't turn them off so he is slowly raising our electricity bill! He wants to do so much himself now. He has a big-boy bed and he gets up in the morning and gets his own milk. If only he could change his own diapers....

Totally off subject, but I thought it was worth mentioning. I recently joined Facebook which is an online group where you search for and chat with friends. I noticed that everyone has their maiden name listed so I went to my account to try to change my name to Jacinda Thompson Miller. I had to retype it 3 times because each time I tried to fill out the line "full name" I could only type Miller! I remember one of my first blog posts talked about me having trouble getting use to my new name. Now I can't go back to the old one! I'm think I'm officially a Miller now!
