Spring is almost here!

If only this picture had bright green leaves in the background....but spring is coming soon! The trees are starting to bloom and our tulip tree is thinking about sprouting in a few weeks or so.

As usual, we have been very busy. I am on Winter Break this week, fitting in all the doctor's appointments and friend visits that I can. Justin is a little under the weather. He's been sick for a few weeks now. He gave Chasen a cold which turned into the croup two weeks ago. Chasen got better but Justin is still coughing. The croup was very scary. I had never experienced that before and it is a very horrible feeling being so helpless when your child is struggling to breath.

As you can see in this picture, Chasen is really growing up! And growing out of his red hair! Only a few locks of red are left and when he gets a hair cut those are the first to be snipped! I wonder what will happen to his hair color as he gets older, since it has already changed so much in his two and a half years. My hair has changed a lot in two years as well, I'm popping up white hairs everywhere! I'm too young to be turning into a Q-tip! (No offense to all the beautiful Q-tips in the world!)
