What water ban?

We finally planted our garden this weekend and as you can see, Chasen picked up a few things from us! Who knew a kid could love a water hose so much! We planted flowers and bushes to add to our beautiful landscape, and we also added a vegetable garden. We will be growing tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, cantaloupe, blackberries, and raspberries. We already have a blueberry bush and a fig tree so it looks like we should have a fruitful summer! Hardy-har-har! We actually have plenty of room for some other experiments. I was thinking of squash and watermelon. Or a pumpkin! But that seems almost like having another baby, waiting so long for a perfect pumpkin!

This is the "big" week in school. The state standardized tests! At least they will be over soon, the kids are acting so crazy! After this week, we only have a few weeks left and then it's summer break! I will be going to Georgia State this summer, but I still think I prefer that break from the kids!
