4 months old!

It's hard to believe but Chase is now 4 months old! It's odd, if you think of it 4 months is such a short time. But it seems that he has been with us forever!

Thanksgiving went well this year. I did NOT spend all day in the kitchen, but just like last year one of my desserts didn't turn out. But, all was well and my ice-box pumpkin pie was a hit! Chasen was dressed like a turkey and would not go to bed with all the action so we had another turkey to pass around the table! Everyone just ate him up too! You will have to wait for pictures from Thanksgiving. Silka's boyfriend Larry took all the pictures and we forgot to upload them before he left.

But, I'm putting some other photos up here. We have Chase on Halloween-he was a lion! The other is Justin and me dressing Chase up as an elf....though it's really an outfit Justin had as a baby. Justin was laughing so hard at Chasen, not understanding that he himself must have worn this outfit once, and probably in public!! (No offence Millers!)

I've also noted that it has been a year since I started my blog. Things have sure changed. I was reading how I was having a hard time saying "Jacinda Miller" along with writing it and typing it too. I no longer have any issues I'm happy to say! I've also come to the conclusion that Sundays are meant to be spent in front of the tv watching football for Justin. The cool thing about it this year, is it means daddy gets to watch the baby! Thanks to all our friends and family who actually read this thing (though I know you are really looking for cute pictures of the baby!!!) And a shout out to our number one fan-Brittany!

Yeah me!

I'm happy to report that I FINALLY joined Weight Watchers again last week and I lost 2.6 lbs! Not too bad considering I ate out 3 times and hosted a dinner party last week! Now I just have to get thru Thanksgiving!

My aunt came to visit for a few days last week after she and my mother got back from New York. They had a nice time, though said that they were sore from walking so much! They also said it was warmer there than here! I can believe that, it's cold! It felt like it was snow-weather today. I would not have been shocked if it did snow!

Thanksgiving will be at our house again this year-round two! This year we are getting help though from the grandmothers. So, I should not have an aching back this year! I also will be able to have a glass of wine, unlike last year. Last year at Thanksgiving, we had just found out we were expecting but had not told anyone yet. I was tired, sick, sore and drinking grape juice! Hopefully this year will be a better one for me. Plus, now we have Chasen to add to the fun!
Speaking of, he's crying so I must go.....

Like Father, Like Son

We recently found this picture of Justin when he was 3 months old.
Can you believe how Justin and Chasen look alike?
They are like twins, but with darker/lighter hair!
Justin jokes that this picture proves he would marry a red-head.....I don't wear that much makeup do I?
