Whoa is Me!

Just when you think the pressures of having a baby and finding a new home are too much another bomb hits! I was laid off from my job at the tutoring center on Monday. December and January had been slow due to LACK OF ADVERTISING (aka not my department) and the head office came down from Canada and gave me the boot. I had to go in on Monday (a holiday) to be told to put all of my belongings in a box!

I think that things could have been handled differently. They will be in a lot of trouble for the next few months. There are things that I knew of that were changing/needed to be addressed with various clients. I guess they will have to figure that out on their own! I am just very upset with how they handled the situation, I could have helped throughout the remainder of the month for a better transition but I don't think Canada ( home office) trusted me with that. They have always been a little shaky with their hiring/firing techniques and they proved to be the same with me-throwing a pregnant woman out to the wolves...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy V-Day to everyone! I hope most of you increased Hallmark's stock today....
I work next to a Hallmark store and WOW! I've never seen it so busy! And by so many men. Men of all shapes and sizes, doctors to construction workers coming out with balloons and fuzzy teddy bears! This must be bigger than Christmas for that store!
Justin and I are not doing anything "super special" tonight. I don't like going out to eat on V-day. It is too crowded, bad food, and poor service. I should know, I use to wait tables! We are going to order Papa John's and watch a DVD! Sounds dreamy to me!
Well, whatever your plans are I hope everything lives up to your Valentine's Day expectations and just know that "I love you man!"

Wedding Video

My, oh my! We finally received our wedding video and all of the raw footage from the wedding. It's amazing what we don't remember, the day and night just flew by so quickly!

The best part was watching everyone shake their tail feathers! Justin's dad does the disco, Karen "shakes it down", and oh those slow dances-GET A ROOM PEOPLE! Believe me, there is enough of me acting a fool to fill a lifetime! I'm glad everyone had such a good time!

We also have the evidence that we needed to identify the assailants who poked our eyes out with the rice throwing! I still have scars! For those guilty of high speed rice pulmeting, just wait....it won't be today, or tomorrow but we will get you back!

16 Weeks

Justin and I had our 16 week appointment for our "Pistachio" and got to do un ultrasound!
It was UNBELIEVABLE!
We saw our baby moving all around, stretching his/her arms, kicking legs everywhere! It was a great moment for us. It's hard to believe that all that action is taking place under my belly button and I don't even feel it yet!
Next month we will be able to have the "Ultimate Ultrasound" and hopefully be able to tell if we have a boy or girl!
This picture of our Pistachio shows the head-you can see the line that is where the skull hasn't connected yet. It also shows the body, arms, and legs. Just use your imagination. If you're creative, you can come up with some facial features!
