'Tis the Season!

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells.....oh how we love Christmas! And it's almost here-11 days and counting! Justin and I have battled the retail stores and have won-we are thru with our holiday shopping! That just leaves us with time enough to wrap the presents......

We also attended our first Christmas party of the season-as newlyweds! Justin's Poka-dot Panther Painting club had a holiday bash where we got to participate in a "gift swap" game. AKA "Gift Giving-Criminal Intent"! Things got a little stirred up as ladies stole, back stabbed, and cried their way to victory with vanilla scented candles and Christmas chimes. The Newlyweds? Well, we walked away with a holiday table runner, so we are quite happy!

We still have 3 more parties to go to this year-what can we say, we're popular!

Uncle Sam loves Newlyweds!

I found another benefit of being married this week. I saved $116 on taxes this month! I just received last month's paycheck and Federal taxes went down by $100 and State by $16! Whoo hoo! That's $100 less I have to pay towards Air Force One and Mayor Shirley Franklin's giant flower pins every month-more for me and shoes!
